It is now easier to adjust the drag with one hand. There is no rattling and it looks cool. Although the arm is long, the thread will not get caught or get in the way. I'm glad I bought it. I'll check the durability now.

Great quality! Fits a Shimano 10 scorpion of 1000 size

I bought this star drag for my Shimano slx dc. Thing looks sick adding more of that beautiful Shimano blue to it. On the other hand there's a little wobble that I can't get to go away even after trying both of the washers or spacers they sent. My biggest gripe is that if I have my drag super tight hook a monster and want to give a little drag after my hookset I have no way in knowing he's taking drag because it's no longer audible. The adjustments click but when drag is actively being pulled it does not and I hate that. HEY LOOKS GREAT THOUGH

Good Star Drag! Like the 60mm length, easy to control.

Why do Shimano make tiny star drags ? I have no idea, but Gomexus has an an answer, 60mm of usable aluminium that works, easier to grip, and find when that adjustment could just mean landing or loosing that fish !

Much better than the original on the slx dc

The construction on the back is cheap and flimsy, but considering the price and appearance, I think it’s totally worth it. I’ve been wearing it on my 16 Metanium for one season, and it doesn’t seem to have any problems with durability.
