GOMEXUS was born in 2015 from the frustration of fishermen who couldn’t find premium-quality modification parts for their fishing rods and reels. Our founder, James Anderson, started modifying his own equipment in his garage workshop, creating custom parts that improved performance and durability.

What started as a passion project quickly evolved into a mission to provide anglers worldwide with precision-engineered fishing gear modifications. Today, GOMEXUS serves over 250,000 customers across 35 countries, with products tested and endorsed by professional anglers.

This marked a key step for GOMEXUS toward high-end specialization.

Introduced the Coach Mechanism, establishing a global Coach System to integrate worldwide resources, improving new product development efficiency and quality for sustained growth. Collaborated with South Korean designers to develop the world’s first fully CNC-machined fishing reel, injecting innovative vitality into GOMEXUS professional fishing gear and opening a new market chapter.

Entered the Chinese market, redefining the fishing tackle customization industry which rapidly expanded. Introduced lightweight and ultra-lightweight customized products, entering the South Korean, Australian, and European markets.

Launched line cup products and non-rotating series production. After one and a half years of development, these products withstand 90-degree high temperatures without bending, with a thickness of only 0.6mm. Introduced the world’s first rust-proof titanium alloy fishing pliers, solving the pain point of traditional fishing pliers rusting for fishing enthusiasts.

2024

Completed the establishment of subsidiaries in major global fishing countries (China, USA, Japan, South Korea). After one and a half years of dedicated research and development, achieved breakthroughs in digital fish grip core technology. Launched digital fish grips and yacht products, actively advancing cooperation with the Chinese Academy of Sciences.
