A: This handle is 3-5mm longer than the stock handle. Yes, it is designed to meet the needs of surf fishing and inshore fishing.
Q2. Will this work with fit the original Penn battle 6000 reels?
A: Just choose the right size for 5000-8000 and it will fit Battle II and Battle III 6000. But it doesn’t fit Battle I 6000. All the handles don’t fit Battle first generation.
Q3. Will this fit battle IV?
A: Yes, this plug&play handle also can fit the battle IV version.

These knobs are excellent upgrade. They look and feel fantastic in your hand. They install very easily just unscrew your existing handle and replace with the new one. I have several of these knobs.

I lost a handle on a rough day coming in from offshore. This is the replacement I bought. It is very well made and ergonomic. BUT does not sit flush with the body of the reel like the original making the reel not as sealed as it used to be.
