Shafts is fine but would have been nice if it included a couple washers. You’ll notice the head size of the screw provided is only marginally larger than the 5mm bore required to mount the shaft. I’ll be getting an m2.5 316 washer for my case.
I’ll also be using retaining compound on the bore/shaft and blue loctite on the mounting screw.
Agree with other commenters on this product. Easy to fit, lots of videos on how to install correctly.
The handle side screw on these needs to be increased to accommodate increasing drag capabilities. I’ve had one sheer off on a Penn Torque, and another screw (same size) sheer off on a T-bar. Was hesitant to install this one. Will look for other options for the stronger reels next time.
