Simply Extraordinary Fishing Equipment, I have not tried a better reel for trolling than this, extremely reliable and excellent line recovery.
at a third the price of a Tag it is a definite 4. Drag is a little stiff and I hope it lasts some rough treatment.
Tried the big Gomexus HX 50W reel at Alijos Rocks. The reel, with quality ball bearings, was smooth and I landed several big yellowtail in half the time of other anglers. I did not have to shift to lower gear. Was impressed by its 97 lb drag and cranking power.
Low gear on a big fish is great
