I purchased this about two months ago and there seems to be a design flaw, I noticed that the BAIT CLICKER SWITCH is not actually a bait clicker but just a noise maker or some sort of spool lock. BAIT CLICKER is supposed to making clicking noises when the fish bites and pulls drag.
It doesn’t actually do that on this real when the drag is loose and the fish bites, instead – it seems to act like a spool lock.
Additionally, the manual that shows the break out diagram of parts of the reel looks like it’s wrong as well (I have the left hand model)
Part #22 (collar) should be to the RIGHT of the Part #21 (bearing), there’s no way you can have the collar to the left of the bearing #21. It’s meant a spacer between bearing #21 and bearing #18
Great price received the real a week ago appears to be well built drag feels smooth. Getting ready to use it on a tuna trip. Weโll see how it performs I think itโs gonna do great
