A: At first, set the drag lever to the free position and adjust the drag button. Then push the drag lever to strike to get the extra drag power.

This reel is suprisingly good. I have the left hand of this reel and i have been using since 2 years ago. I use this for 300m depth jigging and its so powerful. I also use this for light boat trolling in the middle east and its amazing. Cant beat the price for its value comapared to other popular brands. I would definitely buy another gomexus reel if they have other model with different feature.
I landed this beautiful nurse shark, about 6’ in 125ft with the sx 450 in about 25 minutes. The reel handled this fish easily. I was impressed. So far love the sx450.

This set up with the Gomexus SX450 is my go to reel and jigging outfit. This reel is smooth as silk and the drag is strong and clean and smooth. This will land the biggest of fish and have more to spare. An excellent product. You can see and feel how well made it is right out of the box. I took a chance on a recommendation from a favorite Youtube fishing channel and i couldn't be happier. Purchase one. You wont be disappointed.
We have 5 Gomexus SX450s on our full time charter Boat SKIRTCHASER CHARTERS out of Madeira Beach Fla. we fish them hard daily for snapper and grouper from 150 ft to 650 ft !
